Sind relativ spontan und ohne Erwartungen auf diese tolle Finca gefahren. Es hätte kaum ein herzlicheres Event werden können. Wir durften Kaffeebohnen ernten und den rein ökologischen Produktionsprozess kennenlernen. Es war eine tolle Atmosphäre und wir durften viele Früchte und Kaffeesorten probieren. Our time at TierrActiva was the highlight of our trip to Colómbia. We were doing some volunteering in the San Agustín area and decided to spend a weekend off at TierrActiva. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably clean, and situated atop the mountain with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding area (there is even a treehouse to enjoy the view from!). Our meals were all absolutely delicious, vegetarian, and created using a wide array of organically grown, indigenous foods from the farm. From the chachafruto that was used to add extra protein to the arepas, to the addition of edible flowers, and the recipes that were 100% created by Yilema herself, you can really feel how much care and love has been put into the experience.

Despite the fact that we spoke almost no Spanish, communicating with Yilema was extremely easy (via translate apps), and listening to her speak to us in Spanish actually helped us to start understanding more. Her daughter, Maria Paula, and employee, Sandra, (as well as Susy, Toby and Nichya - the furry friends) showed us so much graciousness and hospitality that we were excited to return for another stay the next weekend. We were able to join a tour of the farm, and learn more about how she employs organic and indigenous techniques to grow so many different varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and of course coffee! Yilema also helped arrange a wonderful horseback riding tour for us and transportation to the airport. Visite de la Finca et de la caférie,  dégustation de produits réalisés par l'équipe de la Finca. Très bel accueil de Yilema et de Sandra. Beaucoup de douceur, de bienveillance et de passion pour son travail. Visite interactive avec cueillette du café,explications très claires, grand et beau moment de partage. This was without a doubt the most amazing hotel we had during our stay in Colombia. Host Yilema was so friendly. She showed us around her organic garden and cooked some of the best food we had. Het was een prachtig verblijf in TierrActiva. Yilema is een fantastische gastvrouw die je bovendien veel bijleert over haar organische tuin.
